This was a custom commission to make a costume based on the DC Bombshells Supergirl figure. The WWII nose art inspired version of Supergirl features a bustier style corset with gold trim and lace panels, flowing skater skirt, silk scarf, and custom matching fingerless gloves. I patterned and sewed each piece from scratch to fit the wearer's measurements and the belt was made by someone else.

The swirl design on the statue was replicated with a beaded/embroidered lace overlay at the back and side panels.
The lacing and piping was all custom made to match the cup trim fabric.
Bias cut silk with a lace overlay for the gloves, with hand finished fingers, and elastic at the cuffs for a snug but flexible fit.
